For my entry, I wanted to illustrate a symbolic collaboration of elements to portray the "breast cancer awareness" theme. The piece takes place in October, the national month of awareness. The roses in her hair represent the 1 out of 9 women who will get it, the clock characterizes the women who will die from it every thirteen minutes, and the blue butterfly is my depiction of hope.
